75 Questions: Day 73

When this blog series of 75 Questions began, there were 75 days before the pivotal start of New  Year 2017, according to the Gregorian calendar. From that day forward, the life-changing  countdown began and it continues. So, for the next 5 days (Monday – Sunday) the blog postings will still ask you one question. That question may inspire you, it may perplex you, it may anger you, or it may tickle you. The main thrust is to get you to your zone of happiness.

The main intent of the 75 questions is to probe, to prompt a reaction, to get you to stretch, to press beyond tradition or boundaries, to think broader, to break free,  to find your dharma. All that is asked is for you to give a thoughtful answer to the question. Focus.

It’s about the trust that is within you. You are your guide to help life go right. The arrow direction of which only you dominantly control. Awakened mindfulness, compassion, awareness. Meditation on your intention, that your guide arrow. Peek into your peak.

The overall intent of the 75 questions is to capture change. The questions are to be a precursor for inner change that leaves you feeling more safe, in control, powerful, intrigued, and authentic..

When these amazing emotions are opened up within you (they already exist), you change and your world changes and the whole world changes with you.

75 Questions: Day 58

At the inception of this blog series, there were 75  days before New Year 2017 began, according to the Gregorian calendar year.  In keeping with the format, for the next 17 days (Monday – Sunday) the blog postings will ask you just one question. That question may inspire you, it may perplex you, it may anger you, it may be the catalyst for indelible change, or it may even tickle you.

The intent of the 75 questions is to probe, to prompt a reaction, to get you to stretch, to press beyond tradition or boundaries, to think broader, to break free, to face the fear, or liberate you by confirming what you already know for sure. You are only asked to respond with a thoughtful answer to the question.

Each question, ultimately allows you to  discover how to love yourself which by expansion allows you to love and share empathy for others. Grief is love that everyone is exposed to.

“Grief is like the ocean; it comes on waves ebbing and flowing. Sometimes the water is calm, and sometimes it is overwhelming. All we can do is learn to swim.” ~Vicki Harrison

These 75 question can precipitate change. The question is to be a inquiry into pathways of inner change that leaves you feeling more safe, in control, powerful, intrigued, and authentic. When these amazing emotions are opened up within you (they already exist), you change and your world changes and the whole world changes with you.

Question 58: How do you grieve/honor the tears you carry?

Fantastic Friday: Make a Difference

Happy birthday, but there is no cake.

But, Lexington, Kentucky altruist Ashley Boydgan is making a difference in the lives of children who face live threatening illnesses and/or children whose families face economic hardship and cannot afford even the birthday cake.  Ashley was profiled by reporter John Yang and anchor Brian Williams on the NBC show Making A Difference for the caring project she started, Sweet Blessings, to support these children by sweetening their day with artistic, customized cakes.

“I was supposed to spend more time making a difference and less time making a living,” says Ashley Boydgan.  The group who works with her to bake and decorate the cakes for special children and families around Kentucky who apply for these cakes do not get to meet the recipients-that does not make a difference. What does make a difference is the giving; the work that they do to add smiles and lighten the load.

Make someone else happier today – look for ways to give others a reason to smile. Make a difference.
