75 Questions: Day 43

There are 75 days before the glorious start of a new Gregorian calendar year. So, for the next 32 days (Monday – Sunday) the blog postings will ask you one question. That question may inspire you, it may perplex you, it may anger you, or it may tickle you.  It’s about the real in you. The intent of the 75 questions is to probe your inner mind, to prompt a reaction, to get you to stretch, to press beyond tradition or boundaries, to think broader and then give a thoughtful answer to the question.

The infinite intent of the 75 questions is to capture change. The questions are to be a catalyst for inner change that leaves you feeling more dynamic, safe, powerful, intrigued, and authentic. You get to listen to your heart.

When these amazing emotions are opened up within you (they already exist), you change and your world changes and the whole world changes with you.

Question 43: What is your heart saying?

Happiness Heals Hearts

Daniel Skye has it right.  He just wants you to smile.

Happiness is about smiling, making your life better.  Happiness heals hearts.  When you are happy, your heart beats stronger and you have a little more pep in your step. You want to twirl, skip and share your smile.

Dr. Jonathan B. Levine, a renowned dentist, wrote this excerpt from a post for Dr. Oz:

“The smile is the window to the soul; it puts us at ease when we see people smile. Freely offered, no means of expression has the ability to make a complete stranger feel better or more compelled to return the favor. Smiles know no language barriers, no demarcations of race, gender, or class. It’s the one thing that is truly universal among humans. In any social interaction, professional or personal, people will intuitively gravitate towards those of us who smile.”

It’s true. Happiness portrayed  through a smile makes you feel better and by its intrinsic nature makes others feel better too.  In turn, your heart heals.  A happy life and a healthy heart go hand-in-hand.

Smile

Practice smiling this week, starting today.

Smile while you walk. Smile at work. Smile during dinner. Smile at school. Smile as you talk. Smile when you explore.  Smile at the market. Smile as you dance. Smile while you garden. Smile because you want to.

How do you feel when you smile?

Tell us your all about your smile experiences. What reaction do you get? Post how you felt when you smiled. Go out and smile.  Smile happy. Smile, heal your heart. Smile.

It’s In Your DNA

Do you want to heal your heart? Serve from the heartDo you want to connect with your soul?  Do you want to experience pure, radiant joy?

Really? Do you want to experience these things?

The answer lies in your DNA.  The ability to practice DNA -Do Not Argue- heals hearts, connects you to your soul, and allows you to experience pure, radiant joy.  To many, arguing seems the only way they can make a point or “feel” the pseudo power of dominance.  WRONG!

Exercising the healing practice of DNA-Do Not Argue is the real power that each person has.  There is no weakness in DNA, instead you feel the ascendancy of knowing who you are and what values are inviolable.  DNA is strength.

Someone disagrees with you, DNA.  Offer your truth, if necessary, and move on.  You are wrongly accused, DNA.  Seek justice using facts, you will prevail.  You are supposedly disrespected, shuck it off. Life is too short to spend it arguing over the mundane.

When you live from your heart and soul centered strong self and put that dominate practice into your daily actions and decisions, your true powerful DNA sense of being ascends.  That is the path to a happier, truer, more wholesome you.

“The senses of your soul help you express your whole truth, and being true to yourself takes work, because it’s so easy to get sidetracked and influenced by others.  It’s easy to get caught up in the drama.  You have to put in the effort and stand strong every day to honor your own ideas, feelings, intuitions and aspiration” ~Marc and Angel Hack

How do you live your DNA life?

Monday Miracle: Service

Serve from the heart

                               Serve from your heart

“Faith is the magnet which draws the confirmation of the Merciful One.  Service is the magnet which attracts the heavenly strength.” ~Abdu’l-Baha

Opening up your heart to serve others allows you to experience a greater feeling of gracious thoughtfulness.  When you decide to interact with others today through the mindfulness of service, you extend the heart-shake of good will.

Service to and mindfulness about others around you could be as simple as expressing your appreciation to other, sharing your talent for a project or purpose, extending well wishes that contribute to their happiness. Service may also mean that you give a monetary charitable gift or that you may want to accept a larger load of responsibility so that someone else can take a break.

The intrinsic beauty of service is that it helps you expand your feelings of love for others and it allows you to experience a connection that transcends tradition or the bounds of societal norms.  Abandon superstition, materialism, selfishness, or the intellect which leads you to ignore opportunities for service. Instead, experience a pure consciousness of love, the alpha of which is service.

In generosity and helping others, be like a river. In compassion and grace, be like the sun.” ~Melvana Celaeddin-i-Rumi

Magnetize your life today; serve others with a heart of love.  Be a river, be a sun.

Clear Vision: Clarity in 3 Steps

“Your visions will become clear only when you can look into your own heart. Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes.” —C.G. Jung

Look inside, awaken to clarity.  Looking around, hither and yon, seeking external confirmation does not lead to inner discovery. You must look deep into your heart to clearly see what is purposed for you.  Clear vision often happens when you soul search but you must need to do more. Dig deep and penetrate as you concentrate. Penetrating your inner desires, manifests clarity of passion, purpose, and power.

Passion, purpose and power is not a dream state, but a clear knowing that is integral to you. It matters not the source to which we turn outside of ourselves to fix ourselves, it cannot be done. Try as hard as you can to point to “if only” or “someone” to complete you, it is a futile projection. Only you can awaken to life and clear vision.

The premise of the book, Climb Every Obstacle: Eliminate Your Limits! is that you are the CEO of your life, only you. Once you recognize that you are your life’s chief operator and begin to trust your influence and ability, the things you intend to achieve is then actualized through the benefit of clear vision.

Clarity is achievable. Use these three steps to clear your vision:

  1.  Pause for a minimum of five minutes a day for the next twelve days (the time it generally takes to inculcate a new habit) and listen to your heart. Really probe, examine what is your true heart’s desire. Embrace whatever surfaces; let the longing of your heart express itself.
  2. Plan for what you hear from your heart.  Oftentimes, a true longing from the heart is so buried within, encased in fear, that not only do you not know what your heart whispers, but you systematically suppress what is inside with busy-ness. This time, hear your heart and plan to carry out what’s inside. Your plan may involve a one day activity i.e., go to a play or you may hear from your heart that you want to be a thespian.
  3. Accept the prompting from your heart with sincere gratitude. Be mindful, with graciousness, that this is clearly what you are meant to do and then attentively do it.

You are awakened. You can see clearly, all obstacles have vanished and out of your way. Gone are the dreams that linger on the outside, you clearly see, know and must act with clarity.
