Monday Miracle: Inner Peace

The path to inner peace is actually simple. Yet, most find it difficult to release old wounds, quiet frustrations, or sidestep stress in order to reach the nirvana of inner peace.  When you decide that the past is over and that you can only accept the future, then you can enter the realm of loving peace.

Love all things, even challenges that present themselves for your growth. Challenges are teachable moments which intend to re-train old destructive habits and responses into graceful acceptance of what is now present.  Life is full of pain, it is how you respond to the impulse of emotional pain that changes the person.

Life is not meant to be a stress rehearsal.

Rather than waltz to stress dis-cords, fill your life with loving, healthy thoughts and experiences. Create a mantra for your life that represents love, joy, and peace and do not allow anything or anyone to violate the love, joy and peace that is integral to your well-being.

It is axiomatic,  when you feel good, you share good and that good then expands to heal the world. Life is bestowed upon everyone; make sure you inculcate what is good so that what you expose to others is good.

5 Secrets to Inner Peace

  1. Pay attention. Really listen, and hear your feelings. Capture peace by attuning your mind to what you are feeling right now. The more attentive you are to your true feelings, the faster you recognize negative energy and can stop stress triggers from invading your intrinsic peace.
  2. Be still. Activity is over-rated. Stop and smell the evergreens, slow down and notice the beauty around you. Listen to the bees; watch a butterfly graciously wing its flight. Meditate on the things that are joyous and peaceful. Draw a Mandela or walk a labyrinth. Slow your pace, seek tranquility.
  3. Connect deep. Connect with others, go beyond surface, polite conversation and build a deep loving association with someone in your life. You will likely find that blending your life with another in a non-sexual friendship improves your outlook and resolves the stress inducing shadow of isolation.
  4. Get involved. Make a life investment in something or someone. Fight apathy. Collaborate with others who seek solutions. Gain courage from your passionate conviction.  Share your talent(s) and soon a change movement will gather momentum.
  5. Love life. The practice of loving life-in spite of turmoil-contributes greatly to inner peace. Bless your life and the lives of others with omniscient love, ever present and ever-lasting. Devote the majority of your energy to loving life, feel the eruption of gratitude. Give thanks, give love. Love your life!

Simplify your emotions so that your soul can breathe.

Emotional Exercise 5

Exhale, you have been through four rigorous exercises. Job well done; finish line ahead.

  1. How do you feel?
  2. What has changed?
  3. Who are you?

Don’t skip over these three questions – answer them out loud with your hand over your heart. Feel the vibration as you orally recognize that you feel different, are different and are fully aware of your mental and physical being.

In fact, send me your answers so that you too have a written record for posterity. When you write your feelings and your expectations along with vocalizing them, according to Jack Canfield in The Power of Focus, you are imprinting inviolable strength and tapping  your inner support for powerful change.

Now that you have done this, you are ready for the final Emotional Exercise Five. Congratulations.

Emotional Exercise 5:

     Draw a mandala and place your goal (the WHY and VALUE statements with an end point) from Emotional Exercise Four at the bottom of your mandala.

A mandala in simple terms means “circle” or “center.” Shapes and patterns are added to a clearly identified calming central point.

  • Mandalas are the merging for healing of body, spirit and soul
  • Mandalas uncover your own creativity
  • Mandalas help you discover what is real for you
  • Mandalas allow you to master your inner and outer being
  • Mandalas aide calm and assist you to gain trust and composure

Do an internet search on mandalas and you will find origin information, free mandala drawing pages, and all sorts of interesting information about creating your own unique artistic representation of yourself and your goal.  It does not matter if your mandala is crude or intricate, the main point here is to use your creative, fun, and free-spirit side of your brain and your life.

You have become a master creator.  Post your mandala with your goal written at the bottom, the one you created, in a prominent place that you will see daily and often.  Free your mind, the outcome will follow.

You have a right to what you desire, so pursue your intentional goal(s) with unbiased fervor. Want completely.  Love intensely.  Live with passion that is with full faith and function.

Emotions are indicators of inner feelings that should be exercised or exorcised, depending on where they come from.  The emotions that we have exercised, I along with you, has oxygenated a new you, defined a passion, and inculcated an imprint of exciting rich, colorful change.   There is no more to be done.  Remain active, exercise your emotions often – pause and take the time for more inner discovery.

Don’t stop at one mandala, unless you want to. You can do this for each goal, outcome that you have. Create a symbolic picture of your core value and goal.

Emotional Exercise Five is complete – when your mandala masterpiece with the goal written at the bottom is done.
