Resolutions and Solutions

As you approach the calendar marker of January 1st, it is typical for many to begin to nervously bite their nails as they get ready to make a new list of resolutions.  Don’t fret or stall this year because you are going to plot your resolutions differently-this year you will focus on creating solutions that are connected to each resolutions.

Put away the emery board, the only file you will need is a notes file which you will use to create a winning strategy of resolution solutions. There is a system to achievement. Ask any goal-directed person, you will hear that they worked from a productive mindset to create a repeatable success plan.T. Harv Eker, in his seminal book, Secrets of the Millionaire Mind, says:

“It’s  what’s under the ground that creates what’s above the ground. It’s what’s invisible that creates what’s visibleif you want to change the fruits (achieving your resolutions), you will first have to change the roots.”

Resolution success involves fertilizing your roots.  Resolutions, at any time or date, are nothing more than affirmations you plant in the soil of achievement.  When you add solutions-nothing more than a road map to your affirmed resolutions- you are then operating with the dynamic power of the invisible and the visible. Become a tree planted by the water, be NOT moved.

Resolution Solutions Steps:

  1. Go ahead.  Start writing your heartfelt resolutions. Make each one in the form of a declaration. Use “I am” statements-create your future truth.
  2. Each declaration must also have a solution statement or page-depending on the breath and depth of what you are resolving to do. For example: Resolution-I am an author, I will publish my manuscript by September 2014. Your solution statement may be-I will write or edit two pages every day.
  3. Post your resolutions and solution statements in your meditation room, on the refrigerator, on the mirror, and/ or on your bedroom door.               Success Solution:  tell three  people what you have resolved to do (make sure you solidify your base of support by telling at least one person who has done what you resolve to do, solicit the help of an expert who will support you).

Bringing forth your resolutions from the “invisible” also means that your resolution tree is grounded, planted with indissoluble definiteness. In the book, Climb Every Obstacle: Eliminate Your Limits!, the opportunity step for the obstacle doubt is to write “I believe” statements.

Say: “I believe” a million times a day, especially when you pass the areas where you have written your resolution/solution statement(s). Pause, plant roots in your life soil often, think about what you believe-make the invisible visible. Write it, say it.
Resolution solution suggestion:  Once your initial list is complete, start off by using the first 25 days to inculcate your resolutions.  Stand in front of your page(s) and repeat out loud every resolution you have written.  Say the resolution, then put your hand over your heart and affirm out loud using the words “I believe” after each one. Master this technique. Toss the emery board, get a resolution board. Toss the calendar, get started writing your resolutions and solutions today!

Resolutions and solutions are the invisible roots that make visible your life tree.

Email your resolution/solution list to me – anita@anitajefferson.com – and I will send you a mid-year reminder as a check-in to give you support.

Monday Miracle: Visualization

Human Eye with different lines. The line of si...

What do you see? How clear is your vision? How magnificent is your visualization?

In order  for your goals to materialize, you must have a vivid, electrifying visualization of what you want to achieve.  There are four parts of visualization – learn and assiduously practice each step every day to capture the incredible power of seeing what you want.

  1. Daily Diligence

The first step of visualization is daily practice, the frequency  that you visualize the achievement of your goal by seeing yourself in your mind’s eye accomplishing exactly what you want is the impetus you need to marshal your success. The more often you repeat a clear mental picture of your very best performance or the achievement of the goal, the more rapidly it will manifest as part of your reality.

2.  Duration

The second step of visualization is duration, how long you maintain your mental picture.  The length of  time that you can hold your visual image (it should not be a full n length movie) deepens your ability to attract what you need and see the actions required to complete your goal.  The duration depends on you, some may need more time to vividly see their achievement and others may only need seconds to inculcate their image. Take your time, do what serves your highest need.

“Achievement, of whatever kind, is the crown of effort, the diadem of thought.” ~Elbert Hubbard

3.  Direction

The third step of visualization is direction. There is a direct, one-to-one relationship between how vividly clear you can see the direction of your goal or result in your mind and how quickly it comes into your reality. Your ability to directly cast the goal in your mind is what transmutes desire directly and determines how quickly your visual image materializes.

4.  Desire

The fourth element of visualization is intense desire, how badly do you want to achieve your goal. The intensity of your desire and the strength of the emotion that you attach to your visual image is vital to achievement. This is the most important and powerful part of the visualization process.

Visualization is a process, as is success. Work the process and it will work for you.

Vivid visualization + volition = success.

Radiate Confidence

Confidence

Confidence (Photo credit: wherefishsing)

Hold your head high.

Look into the eyes of the person you are talking to. Radiate confidence, you are strong enough to be bold.  Bold confidence allows you to feel wonderfully lively, radiant and vibrant. Because when you radiate confidence, you are likely to attract a different type of attention.

You may find that you magnify an assurance which is noticeable.  Not only should others take notice, so should you. Pay attention to the different responses you get when you radiate confidence. More smiles, more flirts, more offers of support and assistance. Your high energy mood can make you feel like a star.

Stand erect.

Square your shoulders. Tighten your tummy. Project out to the world that you are a confident person.  When you radiate confidence, it is natural to attract attention.  Bask in the moment.

“You must break out of your current comfort zone and become comfortable with the unfamiliar.  Start smashing through those emotional barriers.  Move forward.  Life doesn’t magically give you what you want in your mind; it gives you what you insist upon with your actions.” ~Mark Hack

Even if you are not entirely sure of yourself or very comfortable with this new radiant, confident persona, do it anyway.  Affirm your qualities.  Say out loud: I am radiantly confident. Speak this affirmation right now with fervor and conviction. Immediately feel how different you are once you remind yourself of your true value.

Believe in yourself.

You are confident. You are radiant. You are impressive.  Let the aura of radiant confidence permeate.  Avoid any negative self-talk. Speak confidently, attract the life you deserve. Show others that you adore who you are.

Radiant confidence allows you to act decisively. That’s right, you know who you are and what you intend to accomplish.  When others notice that you are resolute, the universe begins to magnetize into existence exactly what you want provided that you maintain confidence and pinpoint focus and are ready to work diligently to accomplish those aims.

Ambition is very good, so is confidence. The combination of the two attributes does not have to equate to arrogance. There is a huge difference. Arrogance presents itself as haughty, self-importance. But, confidence shows up as an inner knowing that is gracious.

Be confident.

Confidence begets radiance. You are allowed to shine. You must shine; the light of confidence is already inside of you. Let it out, glow.  Choose to be happy today, right now. Don’t wait to share your radiance. Be confidently assured that your time to shine is right now.

Lift yourself up to cloud nine.

Life is flying by; you will only get to the top clouds in life if you decide to be more radiant than sour. Discouragement, bad news, anguish, doubt grounds you if you choose to be bound to it. Soar, lift yourself above negativity. Get to cloud nine.

Confidence depends on the quality of your thoughts. Think happiness. Be radiant. Be a confident you.

Share your confidence –comment below. Tell others what you do to sustain your confidence. Let’s talk about radiance – how do you exhibit radiance?

3 Happiness Helpers

Joy is what happens when we allow ourselves to recognize how good things really are. ~ Marianne Williamson

Happiness is synonymous with joy.  Having an inner exuberance is a definite happiness helper.  Life happens, so sometimes there may be moments that it is more difficult to recognize “good” in your life. That’s okay, there is still a reservoir of internal happiness for you to dip into that will quickly restore your joy. Then there may be times it takes more effort and longer lapses before you can return to your inner pool of happiness, this is okay too. But, if you find that you are feeling that your happiness is waning to a distant point and you are staying away from feeling the “good” for more and more days, it is time for intervention. Your intervention may mean that you talk with your doctor about the longer days of feeling blue or it may mean getting help in other forms.

Get over the what if happiness destroyers: what if I had done X, what if I had said Y, what if I had gone Z—what if you are happy and at rest with joy for being who you are? What if that!

You can be happy. You should be happy.  Be happy. Use these 3 happiness helps to fill up your joy pool and dip in it often:

  1. Know truth, rather than worry about vain imaginings.  I agree with Epictetus.  He said,”Men are disturbed not by the things that happen, but by their opinion of the things that happen.” Your opinion can instantly shift from worry to happiness when you acknowledge the truth. Rather than speculate or ruminate over distresses, work on validating the truth that measures your joy.  It is not the event that is causing your pain, it is your projected, often wrong, opinion that creates the scaring. Be truthful with yourself first and then take appropriate active steps to remedy a misstep if that moves you back to your joy reservoir.  Look for evidence of joy, it’s there. Joy surrounds you.
  2. Restore positive beliefs. Many times our beliefs get distorted by adopting the perspectives of other people. But, the pivotal question for inner joy is to ask: What do I believe? This happiness helper requires you to state what you know to be true.  When you find yourself doubting or pooling in negativity, pause right then and examine what you are thinking.  Challenge the accuracy of your less than positive mental conversation and restructure those mental moments with honest positive belief.  This world is not crumbling, you are a part of the axis of its positive spin.
  3. Float, let  negativity pass you by.  Wave off scorn, snub gossip, draw away from criticism, move beyond damaging thoughts.  You have too much joy to allow negativity to attach to your mind and heart.  This happiness helper gives you the social and mental spirit of discernment; you know with an inner instinct that this does not agree with who you are and the happiness you feel and spread to others.  Shun negativity, keep your happiness glasses on. Be happy.

You control your happiness. Bathe in the secret of inner happiness that covers all things. Be mindful of your birthright, you were born to live as a joyful and happy being.

The Roles We Play: 2 Ways to Shift Right Now

Do you give too much? Are you expected to “save the day” or be the shoulder to cry on? If so, you may be blocking not only your happiness but the maturity of responsibility in the other person that  is required by life in any relationship.  Overdoing levels of concern, or in other words becoming a doormat rescuer, is not happiness.  Living by purpose demands  balance – a reciprocity of sharing.

Dr. Robert Holden asks: Do you ever play “the giver” who only gives and never receives; or “the helper” who suppresses any personal needs; or “the independent one” who never asks for what they want; … or “the martyr” who cannot really give unconditionally because they do not really receive?

Honest review of these questions may be your pivot of change.

The roles we play ultimately become the binding roles that we accept.  Hidden within the play roles of “rescuer” or “giver” or “helper” or “independent one” or “martyr”  or a blend thereof is an internal desire to be wanted or know that you are wanted by someone. This unexamined inner longing imposes upon your preeminence. So, you must change roles.

There are two ways to shift roles that drain you or no longer serve your higher purpose now:

  1. Pay attention to how you respond in every relationship for a week. Write down the name of the person and the role you used while interacting with them. Be diligent here – every day for one week – identify the role you play with others.
  2. Next, categorize each role.  Look at how often you accept each role.  Now, add how do you feel after playing each role-this is difficult but necessary.

Once you objectively identify each role and which one you switch on and off to accommodate people in your life, you will start the engine of change.  The roles you play become so embedded and expected of you that pausing to examine the usefulness of these roles is not even not thought of as changeable.

But, change you must in order to find your your core identity.f

Know the roles that you play. Own up to and accept the roles that are positive and productive  in your life. Shift, release low performing, often toxic roles, and allow other people to claim their authentic responsibility by shifting your responses.

Live according to your known purpose -tend to your life seeds – and balance often your authenticity scales.

Care for others, care about others but care about yourself first.

Leap Year Day: 3 Tips for Leaping Life

It’s Leap Year 2012. Alright, fine. What makes this year extraordinary is that for the first time in four years you can leap your life to the top. Leap life.  Get ahead of mediocre mindset, minimum living and modest money.

by nattavut

Don’t waste the day, instead plan to make this day a leap to your success.  In case a refresher reminder is necessary to aide your towering leap to your success in 2012 these three tips can maximize your achievement:

  1. Speak positive truth all day. Talk out loud to yourself. Affirm in a thundering voice positive mantras. If you have not written a personal mantra, write one. Mine is-I am child of a rich father. I deserve the best for it is my right. This is my positive truth that I proclaim in a booming voice to leap life everyday.  Shout with strong emotion your affirmation and other positive messages all day.
  2.  Don’t worry, be happy this leap year day. Clear out all negativity today. Replace worry with gratitude, find sources of happiness. Whistle, sing, dance, collect memories, draw, paint, swing in the playground, walk in the park, skip rope, play flag ball, smile, say something tender. You get the point, control unrewarding input. Guard your ear-gate and heart-gate. Shut away the news. Find what is fun and funny. Make yourself and others happy – leap ahead just like a frog.
  3. Think and see your goal checklist for the year. Let me recommend a website for goal-setting, www.achieve-goal-setting-success.com.   This site is full of free goal setting, success, achievement strategies and life skills for adults and children to leap your year.  It is a well documented fact that goal-setters succeed, and people who succeed have goals. Make your goal road map using the tools found on the website or create one independently, whatever route you take to make definite your goals that have a start and end date that will allow you to leap life, do it NOW-29 February 2012 is your start date.

Make major efforts to identify and supercharge your success.  Never despair or get discouraged since, even with the strongest leap, goal attainment takes times.  Work and prepare and work persistently.  Keep on keeping on, leap this year to your success!

Leap Year 2012 is your date to energize your actions for success.

Miracle Monday

The universe is alive with brilliant stars and you are one of them!  Each of us is a star in the galaxy of life and we all have the power to manifest what we want.

Don’t you ever doubt your inner power, regardless of the day of the week or the hour of the day.  As is the power of the galaxy, you have the same inner strength.  It may take diligent work for many to magnify that strength, but be assured  that it can be done. One thought group espoused that manifesting miracles basically only required you to think about waht you wanted and it will appear, similar to a genie in a bottle.

Well,  if that fantasy were true there would be raw hands from rubbing so hard and there would be no woes because we all wish for something better. Dreams require awakened action. Manifesting Mondays takes you to an awareness and point to action you must take to see the change you desire. I started a different type of inner work last week using The Passion Test model by Janet and Chris Attwood that was facilitated by one of their certified trainers.  It was work! Thank you Roy van de Mull.

My discovery is that my passions have changed. This is not utterly profound in that as we phase through our lives, this should be the case. But, often as I can attest, we stay in the same pattern assuming that our passions remain constant throughout life. Not True!

Our passions change and what we want to manifest changes. This is one reason why I urge you to check in on what you truly want to manifest each week.  Here is a suggested process:

1. Wake up (regardless of the time of the day) and meditate. Wake up and feel alive. Take at least 10 minutes. Really get down deep into your internal awareness and meditate on what you want. Be still, concentrate, relax and feel your inner energy.
2. Come clean. Really clean up any lingering mess. Ask for forgiveness, forgive yourself and disallow negativity.  Then take the time to refresh your inner happiness; tap into your passion and enjoy the moments where you were funny, joyful, spiritually uplifted, attuned, in your natural zone of expression.
3. Quiet down. Take a few minutes on Mondays to quiet external noise and allow yourself to experience quiet peace.
4. Clear Your Focus. Clearly, vividly, expressly focus on ONE thing and only ONE thing every Monday. The next Monday you may choose to shift your focus to another thing or remain focused on what miracle you want to manifest.
5. See the end. See your finish point. Be in the scenery and experience all of the expressions that accompany embracing your Monday Miracle.

Lisa Nichols, of The Secret, in her book, No Matter What, specifies the muscles we must develop to create the life we love.  Two of those muscles are-faith in myself and take action muscle. Dreams require action to manifest – act well and wisely. This is your true, passionate life.
This process may require some practice for those who are beginning to Manifest on Mondays, but in a short time, with direct commitment, you will accelerate through these steps with ease and purpose.

Begin today…right now.
Manifest your Monday right now and let us know the result….Be well, be clear, and expect miracles.

Emotional Exercise 5

Exhale, you have been through four rigorous exercises. Job well done; finish line ahead.

  1. How do you feel?
  2. What has changed?
  3. Who are you?

Don’t skip over these three questions – answer them out loud with your hand over your heart. Feel the vibration as you orally recognize that you feel different, are different and are fully aware of your mental and physical being.

In fact, send me your answers so that you too have a written record for posterity. When you write your feelings and your expectations along with vocalizing them, according to Jack Canfield in The Power of Focus, you are imprinting inviolable strength and tapping  your inner support for powerful change.

What really makes me happy is knowing I can tap into the well of strength that rests within me…

No one can ever take from you … the assurance that you are enough, that you are the joy the world needs.”—  Samantha Page

Now that you have done this, you are ready for the final Emotional Exercise Five. Congratulations.

Emotional Exercise 5:

Draw a mandala and place your goal (the WHY and VALUE statements with an end point) from Emotional Exercise Four at the bottom of your mandala.

A mandala in simple terms means “circle” or “center.” Shapes and patterns are added to a clearly identified calming central point.

  • Mandalas are the merging for healing of body, spirit and soul
  • Mandalas uncover your own creativity
  • Mandalas help you discover what is real for you
  • Mandalas allow you to master your inner and outer being
  • Mandalas aide calm and assist you to gain trust and composure

Do an internet search on mandalas and you will find origin information, free mandala drawing pages, and all sorts of interesting information about creating your own unique artistic representation of yourself and your goal.  It does not matter if your mandala is crude or intricate, the main point here is to use your creative, fun, and free-spirit side of your brain and your life.

You have become a master creator.  Post your mandala with your goal written at the bottom, the one you created, in a prominent place that you will see daily and often.  Free your mind, the outcome will follow.

Life is the performance of function; and the individual really lives only when he performs every function – physical, mental, and spiritual – of which he is capable.”       ~Dennis Wattles

You have a right to what you desire, so pursue your intentional goal(s) with unbiased fervor. Want completely.  Love intensely.  Live with passion that is with full faith and function.

Emotions are indicators of inner feelings that should be exercised or exorcised, depending on where they come from.  The emotions that we have exercised, I along with you, has oxygenated a new you, defined a passion, and inculcated an imprint of exciting rich, colorful change.   There is no more to be done.  Remain active, exercise your emotions often – pause and take the time for more inner discovery.

Don’t stop at one mandala, unless you want to. You can do this for each goal, outcome that you have. Create a symbolic picture of your core value and goal.

Emotional Exercise Five is complete – when your mandala masterpiece with the goal written at the bottom is done.

Feel free, I absolutely invite you to do this, to upload your creative images to this blog. This would be wonderful!

Give thanks.

Be, just be.

Miracle Monday

Every day contains opportunities, some call them miracles  so I have decided to adopt that terminology and concentrate on Monday miracles since generally is the start of the week.  Consider with me how much you may impact your life this week by starting the week aware of miracles (or opportunities) that can manifest any day of the week.

I now ask you to join me in creating intentional Monday miracles.

Here is the suggested process:

1. Wake up (regardless of the time of the day) and meditate. Wake up and feel alive. Take 10 minutes. Really go down deep into your internal awareness and meditate on what you want as you.
2. Come clean. Really clean up any lingering negativity.  Ask for forgiveness, forgive yourself and disallow negativity.  Then take the time to refresh your inner happiness; tap into your passion and enjoy all of the moments where you are funny, joyful, spiritually uplifted, attuned; in your natural zone of expression.
3. Quiet down. Take a few minutes on Mondays( and any other day) to quiet external noise and allow yourself to experience quiet peace.
4. Clear Your Focus. Clearly, vividly, expressly focus on ONE thing and only ONE thing every Monday. You may choose to shift your focus to another thing or remain focused on what miracle you want to manifest the next Monday or on another day, but it is vitally important to have a singular focus at this time.
5. See the end. See your finish point. Be in the scenery and experience all of the expressions that accompany embracing your Monday Miracle.

This process may require some practice for those who are beginning to Manifest on Mondays, but in a short time, with direct commitment, you will accelerate through these steps with ease and purpose.

Begin today…right now.
Manifest your Monday right now and let us know the result…

I will send a FREE copy of For the Best of You to the first five people who post their miracle(s) on the blog.

Be well, be clear, and expect miracles.

Lucky You

Getting Lucky (written by Darren Hardy with commentary from Anita Answers at bottom)

16 Mar – Posted by: Darren Hardy in: SUCCESS

The Irish aren’t the only ones who have the lucky charm or a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow. You can have gold, riches, success and more too. Luck has a proven formula for success and the acquisition of whatever it is that you want to achieve.

Do you think you are lucky—or unlucky? Your luck lies in whether you believe you are or not. You have to believe in luck to see it, and to realize it.

When I met Richard Branson, I asked if he felt luck played a part in his success. He answered, “Yes, of course, we are all lucky. If you live in a free society, you are lucky. Luck surrounds us every day; we are constantly having lucky things happen to us, whether you recognize it or not. I have not been any more lucky or unlucky than anyone else. The difference is when luck came my way, I took advantage of it.”

“I have not been any more lucky or unlucky than anyone else. The difference is when luck came my way, I took advantage of it.” —Richard Branson

Ah, there it is… told to you straight by Sir Richard.

The old adage we hear too often, “Luck is when opportunity meets preparation,” isn’t enough. I think there are two other critical components to “getting lucky.”

The (Complete) Formula for Getting Lucky: Preparation (personal growth) + Attitude (belief/mindset) + Opportunity (luck) + Action (doing something about it) = Getting Lucky

Preparation: You must constantly improve and prepare yourself—improve your skills, knowledge, expertise, relationships and resources—so that when luck strikes, you have the wherewithal to take advantage of it.

Attitude: This is where luck evades most people. As Sir Richard says, lucky things happen to all of us all the time, but that isn’t true unless you orient yourself to see situations, conversations and circumstances as fortuitous. As with most things in life, it begins with a mindset or an attitude. You cannot see what you don’t look for, and you cannot look for what you don’t believe in.

Opportunity: You can make your own luck, but the luck we are discussing here is those things you don’t plan for, or happened even better, faster or differently than expected. In this stage of the formula, it’s best not to force luck. Just let what happens happen, what shows up show up… let luck come to you. And it will—it does every day.

Action: This is your part of the deal. With the universe, God, the Lucky Charms leprechaun, whomever or whatever you associate delivering the luck just presented to you, it is now your job to act on it. This is what will separate the Richard Bransons from the Joseph Wallingtons. Who is Joseph Wallington? Exactly, you’ve never heard of him. That’s because he didn’t do anything about all the equally lucky things that happened to him.

My commentary:
LUCK is an active experience. The more you work and focus and absolutely believe in your project you will experience LUCK, not the superstitious kind of luck but LUCK from systematic planning that effects the desired result.

What is the luckiest thing that has ever happened to you?
What part of the formula will you focus on so you can get luckier?
Comment of your LUCK processes and tell us all about how you made LUCK happen.
